Maggie Sheridan

A lover of summer and sweet tea, Maggie exchanged her northeastern upbringing for a warmer way of life here in North Carolina. After growing up in New Jersey, she attended Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina, where she graduated with a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in domestic politics and a minor in Journalism. She plans to continue her education at UNC Charlotte to obtain a Masters of Public Administration. 

Before starting in this role, Maggie worked as an Investment Associate for a legacy media organization, and is looking forward to using her background in media advertising to help promote the programs, values, and mission of the Office of IEE. She is passionate about environmental justice, reproductive rights, and progressive public policy.

Outside of work, Maggie is an avid nature lover, concert goer, volunteer abortion clinic defender, and cat mom of two!
