Sexuality & Gender Equity: Foundations
This 3 hour training is for staff and faculty interested in gaining foundational knowledge regarding LGBTQ+ identities, terminology, and on-campus and off-campus resources for students. This training is required if staff and faculty want to attend future SAGE Program experiences.

Staff & Faculty need to register on the Learning and Development Portal in order to attend.
Learning Objectives
Understand Terminology
Participants after attending this training will be more comfortable identifying and defining various terminology and concepts related to minoritized sexuality and gender identities.
Understand Impact
Participants will understand the impact various systems of oppression have on minoritized sexualities and gender identities.
Critical Self-Reflection
Participants will be able to use self-reflection as a tool to understand how their professional and personal experiences impact their understanding of minoritized sexualities and gender identities.
Resource Sharing
Participants will learn about both on and off-campus LGBTQ+ resources and be able to share them with those in need.
