Chervon is from the glorious tidewater area of Virginia, where she calls Yorktown, VA home. She is a proud Double Duke, receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Organizational Communication and a Master’s of Science in Education concentrating in Adult Education and Human Resource Development both from James Madison University.

Her career experiences are in corporate training development, instructional and curriculum design, Greek-life, diversity, equity and inclusion, leadership, advising, and entrepreneurship. Though previously serving as an instructional design consultant in the corporate private sector, Chervon found herself returning to her alma mater; where she was able to give back what was given to her. While there she served in the Center for Multicultural Student Services as an Assistant Director for Multicultural Greek-Life, Associate Director for Multicultural Programs and Engagement and Director of the pre-collegiate program, The Female Institute Program for Learning and Development. Chervon is passionate about social justice, mentorship, pre-collegiate and collegiate development, and beyond the classroom experiences for students. When she is not working, she enjoys a great brunch, game night, traveling, podcasts, reading, creative projects, and spending time with family and friends.
